DFT students had the opportunity to showcase their learning and talents this week at RRISD's Outer Limits Exhibition at Cedar Ridge High School. We brought many items from our Makerspace and showed parents and visitors how we are using technology to create and invent and how the technology supports what we learn in academic subjects. These students are shown with one of the STEAM Team sponsors, Andy Robinson, using "MakeyMakey" to turn everyday objects into input devices; they are programming Ozobots to follow a path; and they are using "Little Bits" to create instant circuits for inventing. |
